SawTroll I know you are a Husky man but that MS200 might be a good saw for SawWitch. It's about the right size for a woman or small man.

I am not really a Husky man, just gets what I believe is the best choise, for the use I have defined.

Witchy fell in instant love with that 339xp, btw.....:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

But.. did you let her touch a 200? or a 192? hmmm... I'll have to have word with that witch.:buttkick:

None of this would even be a problem if you know who allowed internet sales! ;)

Stihl dont allow internet sales.

It may be a very good business strategy and give the dealers some security.

Imagine if an Amazon Stihl shop opened flogging saws off with $10 profit and stuffed ya businesses up?

With pro's we know exactly what we want and we'll go the cheapest shop, even if it is the other side of the globe. But with serial number warrantees Stihl would know if I took my USA purchased saw into my local Aussie dealer for a warranty claim .... but fortunately Stihls dont break down.:) And they'll never know my cousin sent it as a gift. ;)

No, but I sure have touched it on several occations (but never ran one) - the 339xp just felt like the better handling saw (they did put some effort into making it just that, I believe), but I have nothing against the MS200.

There is no price differense worth mentioning over here - I don't know about the US, but would guess the Husky costs a bit less there.

I've only been able to get rear handle MS200's from mid atlantic since early 2006. We started stocking them last summer and while we don't sell a lot of them they are a great saw. Haven't stocked the 339xp yet, but may consider it.
