Hi Ken Dunn, I'm not trying to oggle or anything, but I found this 090 at a garage sale for 135 CDN., I was so thrilled I gave the gentleman a 5$ tip after it started on the third pull when he said it hadnt been started since fall.Because I am so considerate of other peoples feelings, I just cant bring myself to tell you about the brand new 076 I also pick up today for 200 CDN. Are saws really cheaper in Canada?
John

John you piss me off. All they have here in Michigan at garage sales are life jackets and snow shovels. Hardwood it doesnt matter what year that pig is it is worth triple what he paid for it once cleaned up.

Whee! What'll it take to get you on retainer? :)

The yard sales around here are about on par with Huksyman's. There was this one sale that was off so many side streets I was the first one there at noon. There were these two old saws that the fellow said sat too long to run. Bagged a Stihl 032AVE and a Homelite Super XL-925 for $10 each. First one needed $25 in parts, second one was about as cherry as you could get out of the box and started on the first pull with old gas.

Nice saw John, and what makes it even better is the fantastic deal you got on both those babies you picked up.
Just goes to show you that if you look around, and are patient, you can get great stuff at unbelieveable prices.
Let me know if you want to sell the 090, I could use a project saw to work on.
Tony

Im crying the blues now. I think I sold over 40 090's brandnew and didnt keep a single one for myself. Oh well, when they made that one, they made lots of them.
John

Anybody who's willing to drive around all Sat /Sun morning trawling for Yard Sales deserves a nice saw now and then!

amen to that. id get the big ones myself if we would just grow bigger trees here in nc. most i run into are under 50cc.
except my 036 . got it for 135.

Tony,

What do you need bigger trees for to own a bigger saw!!! Maybe you just havent caught the bug quite yet. Tell him about the 066G Ryan, you know you want to. Isn't an 036 a limbing saw?

Rob

yep i guess i got the bug. i went for yrs .
using one saw for everything. i think the count is seven now. but ive learned that it bugs me to watch a good saw just set in the corner not doing what its suppose to.so except for a backup or two ,if they arnt getting used, ill tradeum or something.
the flea markets an such dn here offer some good saw deals. but most are smaller homeowner type saws . i get them play withum until i gettum running the best i can . then i decide if they belong on the team. as to bigger saws ,
i have the solo 667. then for anything big or little i am using the 372 of dans.later now.

Big John, will 200.00 US cover shipping? I need a back-up for my back-up for my back-up just in case, you know.
P.S. when this transaction is final I will never bad mouth your 084 again!

090
