Hi Marty, I had someone else taking the pictures this time, as opposed to a tripod and timer. The tree was half way down as the picture was taken. I was safe, as there was a big window to get the tree thru.

nice pics John!!! I've slid sideways like that before, it sucks!! monday last week i had my truck parked on a small hill when the parking brake let go and the truck slipped out of gear and rolled back about 20' into a brush pile that had some 6-8'' logs in it and i had to get under the truck with my climbing saw and cut them so i could pull forward, mangled my exhaust

Looks like your doing a good job there John except for the part about getting the Deere jambed between tree's..but atleast you did'nt need the Kubota to pul it out..Well I gotta go plow some snow we're in the process of getting 8-12" of heavy wet stuff,loggun' is'nt gonna be much fun tomorrow..

After deciding there was no money in logging, I decided to offer a loggers training course.

I'm not as dumb as I look ya know. The trainees forward all the logs, so then I give them their skidder operators certificate when the jobs through.
