Nylon rope strands in crankcase

Cause i screwed up trying to block the piston with a rope. I think it worked its way to the transfer and got shredded.

It's only a joncutter i was trying to change the sprocket on. So it could easily become a parts saw.

Looks to me like i need take out the 4 bolts that hold the cylinder down and blow out with compressed air then reassemble.

Will i need to replace the gasket at the bottom?

Is this right approach ?
