Oak Blowdown

Spent the weekend hauling out these two large oaks, very difficult terrain. Used the kodiak and log arch.
Lewis winch and some chain. Along with my #1 helper. The tops will have to wait until next spring.

Awesome work! Dontcha just love working blowdowns? They usually make my butthole pucker..

Looks like big fun! I never tried one of those lewis jobs, but seriously contemplating a power puller and a real long rope for it.
