Well we made it, just got home it rained from Cincinnati to Knoxville. WOW what a great time. THANK YOU TO BILL for having us up and really putting on a great GTG. We had a great time. It was really nice to put some faces with the names. You are all top notch fellas, oh and you got some nice saws too.
I already pulled the wrist pin out of the piston and have the replacement ready to go back in just did not have anymore energy to play with saws today. should have it running by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks brad for the carb tuning and sorry I broke your chain. Thanks again bill and wife for a great time.

Oh and Brad is to be held faultless for my poor saw building skill and my cheapness for trying to reuse an old hard to find bearing LOL

Had a great time as well. First GTG for me, well worth the trip, thanks Bill for all the hospitality, and great food!

Scored some really nice parts as well. Thanks to the guys at Bailey's, they sent along a new starter and chain cover for a 55 Husky which I was in need of, going to install them today.

I already put one of those cushioned start handles on my hard cranking 268XP and it really helped.

Got so see some really strong running saws. The stock Dolmar's were pretty impressive, we don't see too many of those around these parts. There were some SCREAMING Husqvarna's there as well, not sure who those guys were, but that stock 181 was a BEAST! Loved those old Stihl's and the giant Mac as well, grunting along through those HUGE logs Bill left out for them. I even got to see the Wild Thing with the custom header make a few fast cuts!

Of course EVERYTHING in Brad's line-up runs strong. If he was not feeling well, you wouldn't know it by watching him yesterday, not sure where he gets all that energy? I don't think he had a break all day from tuning, running, or working on something!

Anyhow, great to meet everyone, and looking forward to the next outing!......Cliff

PS: I did manage to add a really nice muffler modded Shindaiwa to our collection, and was pleasantly surprised to see my stone stock 268XPS four stroking along at 13,400rpm's!

How many people showed up for the GTG?

I would guess 25-30 head and 150+ saws!!! I know for me and the 2 guys that came with me we had (2) 024's, 340, ms310, 7900, 066, and a 880. And from what I could gather about everyone that came had a minuim of 3 saws and maybe a maxium of 40??:greenchainsaw:

Thanks to Bill and wife for a very enjoyable GTG. Everything was first class. I had a great time watching all of these saw experts running their equipment.

Also thanks Brad for answering my saw questions and helping me come up with a possible fix for my 200T carb mount air leak.

I liked Brad better back when

He was all about taking pictures at the GTGs.. Rather than having all this fun with his Evidently really strong running saws.

I am glad to hear everyone had a good time.
Just kidding Brad

And they thought I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off not taking pictures:dizzy: . I was actually kind of relieved to find I left the camera memory at home. Too much stuff going on. Sorry you couldn't make it Eric.
