I imagine using 2 pulleys in the tree I could get more power to lift. With using a different rope guide we can keep lifting to the rigging TIP. I welded a right nice tab to fit into a saw kerf to keep this boat anchor where I put it.

Just being able to tension like that is an improvement compared to porty. I have done jobs just like this sycamore with pulleys and a porty.

The funny thing is the guys knew about this device before I got it back out from under the workbench. They have seen others try to use it in the condition it was with the strap ripped and no tab to hold it in place and the rope guide causing the rope to bind. They were deathly afraid and wanted no parts of it.

I reconciled the 3 things.

Now they have decided that its not very hard to set-up, use, and break- down. AND It is by far not the heaviest thing around.
