Noticed while tearing Down my Old Husky/Tomos 65L Saw that there is Very Little if any Vertical or up and Down movement between Crankcase and Connecting Rod but some Side to Side (Horizontally) is there a Specification for allowable Side to Side Play and is there a Cure such as Installing Sim or Shims. 55 Model just Pukes out Bar Oil. Chain Oil Pump or wrong Chain Oil Possibly? Would Greatly Appreciate any Help

If the con rod slides from side to side on the crankshaft, don’t worry about it. Up and down movement from the big end bearing is all you need to worry about.
