Today was one of those rarest of rare occasions. I had 3 trees surrounding an old beat up garage to put on the ground. Best part, don't worry about the garage. I got to bomb them down wherever!!!! With respect to the service wire and phone cable. I set my bucket and bombs away. Suprisingly, I didn't mutilate the building. I beat it pretty good though.
My most sincere apologies that no one on the crew had a camera. They would be priceless photos.:buttkick:
Its not to often we can be carefree of our clients property and structures, but i had that chance today, and it was fun.

Doode I got to do that on time with an old adobe barn. That stuff is pretty sturdy. Try as I might the sod roof took just about all the impact and only raised a little bit of dust.

No chance of insurance claims ASD. they were unloading the dozer to demo the garage when we finished. The only reason they had us do the trees was because the service wires. pictures or video would be fun to send to the insurance co. on april fools day or something.

Fun to do except for that passerby that does not know the plan and sees part of the tree sticking out of the roof and says, I won't hire those guys. :)

Tempting as it may have been to bomb the building please consider in the future (to all btw) that once you have crushed the building you have created a hazardous situation with broken lumber, nails, and debris, that you'll have to crawl around to buck the tree up (unless your yardin' it off to do that). Just a thought. But man that would be FUN!!! Esp. if you could video it and do a 'Oh gosh darn!' You-tube thingy and pull a leg or three :D

 :chainsawguy: That outhouse has gotta go! :chainsawguy:

I had to bomb out a big old willow above a shed that was to be demolished and was told we could wreck the shed as much as we liked. ]
I found it really hard to intentionally drop big pieces on the shed, was so against all that we do every week to avoid.

fun jobs

I was removing an oak on a property where they were going to demo the house and put up a mcmansion.

Still found myself avoiding the house/no damage.

Takes the stress off it though, eh?

I'm with sprig on this one. It's fun if you are in the tree but it makes the groundies job miserable.
