I'm new to this computer stuff and am trying to find out other chainsaw related forums to look into. Anything mechanical that can hurt me interests me.

I have about a hundred acres of woodlot in southeastern North Carolina to manage and have cleared a small homesite with a thirty-year old Poulan and a Shindaiwa brushcutter.

I'm thinking hard about a Stihl MS200 for pruning. Does anyone have firsthand experience with the Echo 350T which seems unavailable in the United States?

Thanks.

Joey I have read the other forums and this one is far and away the best. You will find more info here than any other place. Many pros post here and also saw and chain builders, just takes awhile to sort the real info folks from the BS'ers. Some real clowns on here but stick around and you will enjoy the site.

There is only one other that I have found to be worth while, and it's how I found this place. Look at my profile...

They both have good info that the other does not.

The two seem to be split by socio-political groupings, lots of liberals  here more conservatives over there... (look at 'Off the Topic Forum' here and 'General Board' there)

this one has more saw enthusiest the other more lumber boys etc.. the number of people who are on these forums with just infinite knowledge and understanding about all aspects from chain to soupin one up is really amazin to me..

I've found two others and this one is the best. There's way more technical info here than the other sites and every question I ever had I found the answer to by using the search functions.

Trust me-the other sites have way less traffic and much less info! :)

there are other forums out there. i've even been in a few. after comparing all the available(and correct)information i can not think of a reason to bother with the others. this site has more pros for members than the others and more experence. many more resources and lots of fun. we all pick on lambert(once he catches on he might get mad though). use your search engines to look around but you'll find "there's no place like home".
