there was a dealer here in town then he was selling sachs dolmar after that. There are a few round here just cause of that

Can someone give me the general rundown on one of these? I’m looking at getting this for $300, runs good, clean p/c, needs the kill switch tang fiddled with, but I know next to nothing about it, except that it’s an illegitimate Partner/McCulloch/Jonsered love child and it’s a big azz saw.

Oh yeah, and for $17.03 at sugar creek supply it can become a McCulloch P-1000.

I believe you would need to repaint the saw to be a Pro Mac 1000 because the 2 Pro Mac's I have and all the others Pro Mac 1000's I have seen are all a lighter shade of yellow. You would also have to change it to a one piece ign like the Pro Mac.

I believe this is part of the rundown you ask?

Here is the color of a PM1000 I bought this 2 years ago. Other than the Mac stickers it looks close to the partner shade of yellow

I picked it up today, it’s darn near new, sounds very healthy, and needs nothing if you choke it to death. I’m really happy with it and am looking forward to cutting with it.

Well now you're just gloating... Nice score!

I got an r440t on the bay for $100something, and have zero regrets (unlike some other bay purchases hehe). Just needed a carb cleanin'. Picked up a full wrap from that same seller a while back. Unfortunately not for the $30whatever price that's up there now.

bought a F55 Farmer 55cc, flywheel magnet protrudes and hits the coil any chance of finding a good FW. It has reasonable piston cylinder so maybe part out if FW not readily available

pics of the magnet on the flywheel. I have managed to get the coil set so it is not hit by the magnet, but still it looks odd. It doesn't have a spark plug wire so I can't prove spark at the moment
