Been working on an S50 Partner that I've had for a while. I put a new coil on it some years ago and had it running. After that, I bought a new bar and chain, installed them and couldn't get it started. Set it aside for a while again. When I first worked on it, I vaguely remember having trouble with the throttle linkage where it meets the trigger and doing something to get it to stay connected. Been long enough I don't remember. It came loose again when I pulled the carb to rebuild and can't remember what I did. It looks different that the pics of the S55 and bigger saws. The throttle trigger has a smooth dowel pin pressed in it, extending a bit out of both sides. The linkage from the carb has a bent oval loop on the trigger end where the minor dimension is about twice the diameter of the dowel pin. I need to know if and what is missing and which side of the pin on the trigger it should be installed on. Maybe it just need a retainer as on the carb end? But maybe a little larger. Thanks in advance for any held you can offer. John
