The trees aren't very big but they are really white, and sweet inside.....fur for sure! Whew hoo! Which way to the beech? The KD 385 puked out the sawdust in every direction, and made the trees piss their roots. From now on it is push, push in the bush!

John.....better known as baldo (as Susie says these days)....the little ankle biting troll!

It's nice to see you're not mad at us anymore, John. Stems may be small, but better than no stems at all, eh?

john u one of the few that enjoys life as much as i . garth brooks song ,standing outside the fire. comes to mind.

Hey John,

Those are some nice little pecker poles your working in there in good ole' Canada :D So how does it feel to get back into the bush with the 385KD..Well it's nice to see your back to being yourself. So I hope your not still frustrated with me about that shipping deal, sorry bout that:( So how are they anyway?

Thanks Rob.

Glad you all like the pictures, more to come, but I must come up with more original stuff, any suggestions?

Hey John,

It's always good to see your atleast having a good time in the bush, keep the pics coming..Original how bout some pics of a wheelstanding 540 Deere with a hitch of Cherry behind ya :D Thanks for the chains I appreciate it,just whatever you do make sure when you ship them back to send them to the address I wrote on that piece of paper that was inside the box, otherwise it will end up going to the shipping place I already went through that nightmare when I had Dan ship me my PP385 and they ended up sending it to the store instead of my house..If you lost it just check your PM's I'll send it too you right now.

Thanks Again
Rob

Got the peckerpoles done. Moving to another woodlot tomorrow.
It's either bust or boom.
The 088KD is coming out tomorrow, so the trees gonna piss them roots. Now I get to use a real saw.
John

Gypo, have you been cutting any good cherry up that way. I cut one about three weeks ago that brought just a hair over 2800$$ There was just over 720Bdft total including a limb out of the fork. We got five dollars on the butt 4.80 on the second and 4.50 on the third, the limb out of the fork was only about ten inches dia and he paid 1.80 on that as well cherry seems to be hot right now. That tree enabled me to purchase on of those magical 2186s that Dennis pulls out of his hat and I am still waiting on and hoping to see later this week. Anyway just making small talk and searching graveyards for cherry inbetween..............Later Wade

Hi Wade, sometimes I cut a bit of Cherry, but it only represents about 10% of the volume I cut. The best I ever got was 990 U.S. for an 8'6" log with a 21" tip.
John

Nice pic, Unfortunately it's probably less than that for us. Occasionally we stumble accross a nice patch 10-20thousand ft but for the most part you need to get farther North up into Penn before you start to see Cherry in any large#'s, Later Wade
