i bought these from a guy last week and finally got around to pickin em up today... i think theres some cool ones here... old saws are really really heavy... so looks like i have about a years worth of work to get these back up to cuttin... look at the pics and lemme know if theres anything here thats not worth fixin so i dont waste my time. i love chainsaws... i just barely got into them last year to clean my property... before these, I already had about 6 other saws. i just got these because i think all the diversity [before the all-plastic age] looked neet.

That depends on what you mean by "worth fixing." I can't see how you would gain monetarily by fixing any of them. Therefore, any worth you attach to them will be purely subjective, imho.

i believe it is a 2MG.... i got them all for $125

That a lot of saws for little money! On of those is a David Bradley. Those Bradley's are neat old saws, my father has one. You can count the teeth as it is running, but I promise you will not stall it. I don't believe they are worth too much other than cool factor. Or unless you really want a workout hossin it around

Man!! I REALLY want to see someone cut a log with the Sawzall thing.

Can you imagine hanging on to that thing. :jawdrop:

Cool score! I think you got yourself a nice start for a saw museum! The giant reciprocating one and the rounded 'art deco' type one are most interesting imo. Can you say hernia?

BoiseSaw: Sent you a PM

You really shouldn't be wasting your valuable time with these dirty old saws. Especially the three or four I mentioned in my PM.

What model is the Wright?

All-in-all, a great group!! All of them classics!

Good Eye!! Congratulations.
