Ed: Yup, this one was blue. Had a repair tag on him. Maybe I can snag the filter setup off it if it turns up dead.
Does anyone know the model number of a 25-26mm carb that might work with the p61 or easily be modified to work?
There's only about 24mm between the carb mount holes in the reed block. You'd have to make a new block if you want a carb that big.
And I don't think he needs it anyway unless he really got crazy with the porting.

That hole should be plugged. I usually use JBweld. Make sure it's 100% degreased and don't block the oil passage further in. I've seen them plugged with small screws also.
Steel shot? Does it get hot enough to melt lead?
If this sells, Jerry has become a rich man.
pioneer chain saw - Peterborough Buy & Sell Goods - Kijiji Peterborough Canada.
I see a lot of crazily priced chainsaws on there lately. I figure they seldom ever sell.
Wow! And it says price is firm!
He needs to get rid of all the zero's and leave the $25. LOL
Those reed blocks are notorious for cracking. They also are prone to leak at the gasket between that block and the case.
Some of those saws came with a Walbro SDC carb and I seem to have a lot more luck with those than the Tillys.
