Love your P41 good looking saw
What is next to the Skil?
Thanks Walter.

That is an '87 Poulan 3000 in Canadian colours. My back and hands thank me every time I run it. Lots of saw for what you can pick them up for.

Hard to beat the colour scheme.

I needed a couple parts for the 600 so I bought a parts saw . It runs # 135 compression .

Got some clutch parts for the 600. Oregon # 16226 drum 7 tooth standard rim . Going with 7 tooth .375 rim . Needed shim washers to make this right , .085 on behind the drum . I'm going to add another .062 washer with larger o.d to guard the case (all spring steel). similar to pic of Oregon # 66758.

I don't know how the sprockets were but their bars were superb. Hard as hell unlike the junk Oregon makes today. They were head quartered in Burlington, ON.

I bought some 20" roller nose Sabre bars and a 48" hard nose for a wall hanger. The old Sabre chains were good as well.

Would it surprise you if I say I paid $15 for the 48" bar. E099 mount but I thought it would make a nice wall hanger. The guy had three skids of bars he bought at a bankruptcy sale in 1972 or 3 I think. They were destined to go to Africa but the buyer never sent the money so they sat forgotten in his warehouse until a year or so ago.

Most of the bars were hard nose in Stihl and PM Canadien mounts. I think most were 20 and 24" bars. The roller nose bars are a 10 series MAC mount but can be converted to others. The steel is very, very hard.
