Mine has the black cap on it , but wasn’t sure it was right. Mike acres site sais it runs 12:1 so I assumed the yellow cap to be correct ?

Paul was thinking of handle wrap on my 600's . Since one had paracord , the other a split hose . Has to be better than that .

If you are looking for a fairly rugged wrap the tennis racket wrap is pretty good as well

This beauty came into my after hours shop tonight. Guessing its a touch lean . LOL. Polaris snow machine . Light hone and go. I gently took it apart with some wood blocks and a 4# hammer. Guy said it just quit. ???

Well I'm sure it will much better than Paracord or hose.

Walter's idea is a good option too. I have used the tennis wrap on a couple of non-saw related things and it's good stuff.

Nobody tell my wife... I dragged another one home today. Guys dad bought it new in ‘80. Really clean by the looks of it. Know more when I get it home on the bench.

Looks pretty nice. I just got done doing a complete rebuild on the one my dad bought new.

Thank you. My dad was happy to get it back fixed and running. It was straight gassed by my grandpa 10 years ago.

Great looking Farmsaws guys. I've never ran one but I'm guessing they're similar to a 41. Has anyone that you know ever hotrodded one?

If you get to the point where you get enough of a pile of saws, they can't tell if you added another one to the collection. The trick is getting to that point!

I hot rodded this one a little bit. I did a little bit to the upper transfers and exhaust. Also was able to delete the gasket. It's pretty nasty, and only has 2 tanks thru it. Compression was at 175 when I handed it over to my dad.
