With out pulling panels, and giving it a quick whipe it looks good. Top cover had a crack and looks glued back together. So if anyone has a spare let me know, thx.

I hot rodded this one a little bit. I did a little bit to the upper transfers and exhaust. Also was able to delete the gasket. It's pretty nasty, and only has 2 tanks thru it. Compression was at 175 when I handed it over to my dad.

Doing well thanks. Heading to the woods today to run some some saws and fill some trucks. I'd like to see that Farmsaw run, it sounds fun.

Glass bead blasted a few things .I normally don't but I like the raw look on the 600. IMO cutting the gaskets is the worst part of any build.

Would it help the bearings to remove the inside dust seal? Thinkin lube would get in easier.

Yep cutting gaskets is a pita sometimes. I would remove the dust shields, it just makes more sense to me.

You might want to reuse that copper head gasket. Paper won't work as well

It is actually paper its just red . It was leaking on the exhaust side .I am going to try to fab an aluminum one like was on my 14/20 . I will have to fab a punch dieset , but I love a challenge . My material is only .020 verses the .030 paper . It will raise the squish which might be a problem. Thoughts?
