Ok, that ad is out of date just a bit eh? You have a really nice looking saw there, if it had wheels it looks good enough to ride to church on Sunday.Might have to add a zero just before that period., as in $1990.50 ,that would be close....LOL

It proves I am a hoarder of memories, It was left to me to be the, repairer , of the family. Anything that broke or needed attention got pushed off to me so in the end I ended up with most of it. The RA that I first cut with got a cheap paint job when I was in my teens, I have left it just that way for memories sake but its a good runner to this day.nice to have them in that condition now, shows how much you appreciated them.
I actually look back on those hard work days with fondness. The hard work and camaraderie I actually enjoyed, we burned 20+ cord of hardwood a year at each residence so firewood was a big deal. Many hands did help to make it happen but a lot of physical work just made us tougher.Looking at those RA pictures takes me back in time to when I was about 9 and my dad let me try to cut a few fire wood logs with his RA.
Good saw and good memories thanks Jerry
I Try not to remember the never ending trips from the wood boats filled with fire wood up the hill to be piled by the house it must have looked like a chain gang of tiny humans up and down.
Kash
You did a nice job on that saw, looks really good.My opinion in today’s market they should $200 -$250 each in that condition without bar and chain. They look like great saws in good condition.
If it were on eBay you might be able to double that but it’s a pain to deal with all the problems and charges.
Collectors who are looking for a P41 may pay that but most people do not want to pay much. They will keep watching for a better deal.
I just sold a Pioneer 650 totally rebuilt and painted for $200, it has new rings, bearings, seals, fuel line, filter and paint, probably 40 hrs work and $100 in parts.
I think it’ going to a good place. The guy said his Dad had one when he was a kid and he cut with it.
I like working on old saws and getting them running but have limited space, so I have to sell when I get too many. Sold 4 saws this week and bought 6 LOL, still out of room. Like most who collect some are not for sale.
