anybody use it? i know its been around for awhile and sherriltree.com states that its their most sought after climbing line so i would assume its good. i use just about all the climbing techniques that are common including ascenders as well as friction hitch depending on the climb and my mood that day. so i guess i just wanna make sure its a good all around climbing line. thoughts/opinions?

I won't be much help as I have never used it, but in the next couple days I'm gonna order some blue moon. Same rope I do believe...different marketing. Like to try the 11.7mm size. Also thought it might make a good ascent line for longer ascents using ascenders. So I'll be interested to check back and see what our peers are sayin about it...Best o' luck, cheers.

Poison ivy is a good all round climbing line. I've climbed on it a lot. Not what I'm using now, but I like to experiment. Buy it, try it. You can't go wrong. It was my first small diameter climbing line from 13mm. I use Blaze a lot for SRT and tachyon(lava)for double rope. Poison ivy is probably as good as either.

It's the best all round climbing line there is. Sold as poison ivy, poison hi-vee, blue moon, and one or two other names in different colors, it's a very versatile rope. Works well with most hitches and hitch cords for traditional climbing, footlocks ok, and plays well with SRT, rope wrench, and ascenders, gri gris, and most rock climbing equipment. It doesn't milk too bad at all. Just the right amount of stretch. You won't be sorry.
