Well I ran it all afternoon. Starts with one or two pulls.... I love that! I don't have any complaints about it. It run good. Cuts like butter. It'll put muscles on you for sure. I'm 5"11 185lbs, I think it would be a handfull for anyone much smaller.
I'm still digging wood chips out of my eyeballs. Forgot to wear my glasses. Didn't think I'd need them... wrong! Got it pinched already... I had a guy on the forestry forum tell me he's never got a pole saw pinched.... I now know that he is 100% full of $H!+. One other thing I noticed,,, when you cut larger limbs you better look out. Invariably they will hit the ground and bounce right towards you. Other than that it is handy and I'm glad I bought it.

Ive done a fair amount of ground cutting, and watched pole pruner use alot before I started.. As I said earlier use the 3 cut method, or more on larger limbs (ie take half first) and youll never pinch or tear the bark.
Im about 4 inches taller and 40 lbs heavier than you too so my control may be better.

You do need a fair amount of upper body strength to work with one. More so to have good control.
