another in the line; shows major cuts made in a roundover style. the regrowth will be a bit too crowded, even tho the summer pruning will minimize crowding there will be too much. room for improvement no doubt.

View attachment 250174 View attachment 250175thats how you properly maintain a desired size , not hacking the hell outta them burning out the centers and basically baking the tree roots and all in the summer sun , I can keep both of those trees at half there natural size and maintain there health prolly better then if they were untouched, the sycamore had 5 ft removed it should naturally be almost 3xs that size and the maple almost 3ft , and they are doing well , so there is 2 hand grenades for you and mine will live and thrive and not slowly and expensively rot and decline LOL

And in the pic of the October glory you can see 2 more maples planted within the same month same type and there size they are much larger , leggy and basically somewhat outta control for there space so ther :hmm3grin2orange:
