I'm sure this will get deleted, and it probably should, but let's call a spade a spade.

Brad is a sponsor because he sells saws. He posts these threads to sell saws. That's fine. He is, after all, a sponsor.

I was never impressed with his work, but I just do things differently. Different strokes...as they say.

There simply is no way to reconcile his behavior with his "just a hobby" claims. His petulant reactions to valid concerns is not a response to having his feelings hurt, it's a response to having his pocketbook hurt.

In the past year I have gone from indifference to disgust. Maybe I have a different "code", but I can harbor nothing but deep and sincere disrespect for someone that deals with unhappy customers the way he has, and makes inflated claims the way he does.

Like Brad said, just don't open the thread, but then the newcomers get hooked because of their inexperience with the forum.

There are those that dog Brad and take cheap shots every chance they get. I'm among those that wish it would stop. It distracts people from the fact that reasonable people are expressing reasonable concerns.

Of late, a number of reasonable people have been expressing reasonable concerns, but it gets lost in the noise.

What I'm about to say is really none of mine or anyones business but I doubt Brad has to worry about the affect porting saws has on his pocketbook.

brad helped me out about a year and a half ago port my own saw (i did it),
he did'nt have to do that...
he was'nt a sponsor at that time either...
