long story short, lent saw to neighbor, was brought back and I was informed he could not get it started. I noticed that the fuel mixture set screws looked to be in a different position than I remembered... Please tell me what the factory settings are. Or at what position I should set them to enable my saw to run,so correct tuneing can be performed.Looking foreward to learning more about all the topics contained here. Thanks for the help.....

re: poulan 2150

Scott, thanks alot i'll adjust it & see if I can get it to go,by the way there are 2 screws on it the red one can be turned past a full 360',thats the one to set 1 turn out........the other one has a blue limiter collar which restricts it's movement from about the 12o'clock position to about the 6o'clock position........should I set it in the middle to begin attempting to start it?

The information that my service manual gives is that both the L (low speed adj.) and the H (high speed adj.) are to be set at one turn out from lightly seated . Set it in the middle and give it a few pulls and see if it pops . If not then remove the plug and see if it is wet with fuel . If not then check the fuel filter and fuel line .
