She has very good compression, and runs excellent strong and idles. I did not remove spark plug and put the gauge to it yet. I installed a new fuel line, old one was rotted off and cleaned the saw up a bit and installed a rim sprocket drum and 21" roller nose bar with new chain. Today I finished a few cosmetic upgrades and I will post some pictures tomorrow, paint should be dry on the top cover by then, it was painted orange/puke yellow by whomever previously owned the saw over a the gray prime must have been replacement cover and it was UGLY. sanded all that off and gave a quick shot of black, supposed to be black according to acresinternet.

If someone could send me a picture of model tag identification plate so I can make a vinyl replica it would be highly appreciated. My reproduction decals are missing the small wording but make a definite/significant improvement in the cosmetic looks. The top cover has one dent/crack as a cosmetic issue otherwise saw appears very solid and runs very well. not sure I would put it into a production firewood cutting setting as of yet. I tried to save the image in this thread but saves in unsupported file for making cropping and making other edits. Thanks

I am going off of being able to read enough of the decal sticker on the recoil as to this being a true 5400, pretty certain that it was correct, although the clutch cover must have been replaced at some point, I believe it shouly/would have been green and not black, that is why I did not bother to paint the clutch cover as of yet.
