Prazi Beam Cutter For Milling Small Logs?

Any ideas if this can work?It is mounted on a Skil wormdrive saw.

Technically yes, practically no.
I think that this would be a bit too much to ask of a power saw, probably resulting in the saw overheating. Even a large power saw is pretty low horsepower compared to even a small petrol chainsaw.
Power saws normally do fairly short cuts and I have noticed that when ripping at their maximum depth of cut they really work hard.
If you were ripping say a small log that was very short and you already had a Prazi, I would say "give io\t a go", but I definitely would not purchase one for this specific purpose.
Just my 2c worth.
 
With a worm drive saw I would't think twice about it, however your feed rate would be slower than.........well my wife, possibly, potentially, maybe next year........using the vaccum cleaner.
The Prazi is mainly and is suited to cross cutting, yet like most things has more than one use.
