Price of stihl bar oil

just got bar oil at rural king. 5 something a gallon . the only surprise with bar oil was when I bought some cheap chit made out of soap .

Same thing I found. I bought this oil called chain pro from our local farm and fleet. It smelled like drain oil. It worked when it was cold but when it got warm(above 50f) it nearly ran out of the saw.

I use poulan, husky and woodland pro oil. At all flies off the bar, no since in spending too much $$ for it.

Thats one brand I dont buy anymore is chain pro, we have it at our local farm and fleet. I agree its real thin AND when youi get done with a gallon of it look once at the bottom of the jug, thats a REAL thick massive brown blob at the bottom of the 3 gallons I used. I put a cup or 2 of bar oil back into one of the jugs shook it and luckily the big massive blob of crud didnt mix in with the oil, it stayed at the bottom. Whatever it is I dont want it going into my saw.
