RB 066 project saw
Washinton Hotsaws P/Cylinder woods ported ....
dual port muffler......
25" Stihl es bar 8 pin A1EP chain..

Bought a woods ported cylinder and piston from Dean at Washington Hotsaws about 8 months ago and finally decided to put it on a project saw I bought that needed a P/C ...Set it up to Deans spec's and ran ten tanks through it.. Have to say the saw runs great and survived some abusefull cutting this past weekend.. Dean the torque is great and it wants all the pressure that you can apply..Sure seem's to have made this saw come alive... From what Dean was saying he going to sell kits like this one to any body that wants one.. Still going to try other bar chain combo's to see what it likes best..

Just remember that this saw is woods ported and not a race saw..The phrase "Wood's Ported Saw" is getting bured lately with "Race Saw". It was built to cut wood everyday in all conditions and it seems to be just what Dean said it would be.

THX Dean

Well I'll be damn, thats a pleasant surprise. Thats about the biggest post I think I ever seen you put up, good job ole boy.

So ya saying your woods ported saw isn't for making cookies or running stop watches, why not?

Also tell me something. You now have both stock and woods port 066/660's correct? So that being the case is the advantage in power worth the cost and labor. Seems from what your saying it is so clearify that with a yes or no.

I have alot of saws.. It runs really strong with lots of torque. Hard to judge %

It just flat out runs real strong. Its like a stock 360 VS 660 hows that..

29.154% more then Dual port mod...

.

Thats Huge..............Thats what I was looking for though

Have three strong runners and wanted another..Have to be able to push them hard..

.

Hmmmmmmmmmm I myself have no urge to push my saws, I prefer to saw one handed myself, hehe

So your saying the cost and labor is worth the increase in power, YES or NO????????????????????

Yes.... It was for me .. But then again I shipped some saws fo cuda cleaning... :D :D

Well cool, then the question is answered, its worth it, cool. That being known now I may have to try it one of these days. From what your saying a modded saw is fun, and you know me , I likes fun, hmmmmmmmmm
