sweet! shall be interesting to see what you can do with a clam shell engine, ive got one thats ported that absolutely screams:hmm3grin2orange: let er rip stump!
 
oh nice, at least with this project its not as big a deal if you mess one up, plus if gives you a chance to play alittle with different durrations and setups

These are pretty much spoken for & I've decided to go with what I know works. Well the smallest one (029) will be a playtoy for the buildoff that might get a lil more attn.;)
 
would an 026 be a good project to stumperify? seen MM thread on that 261 and i wouldnt mind making mine stronger

Yes, it would. They wake right up with porting. I'll be honest & say that I haven't done a 026 yet. I just sold a 024av on ebay I was gonna break, but figured it would bring just as much stock. Those little saws are the fun ones to see how long of a bar they will pull. I built a 028wb that would pull a 28''. not the fastest but it would pull it.

Thats nice,back in the day my wife used to call me longbar so it would be fitting for me
