Question for the Stihl guys

I just fell into couple of splined clutches and rims for a 260 pro. Will these repace a spur sprocket on an MS 280?

I could go out to the shed and tear into the winterized MS 280 but it is 15 Fahrenheit out and just ain't gonna do it. Perhaps I need a new 260 Pro to use these parts?

I am old and slow...I posted the same question a couple of days ago...and was confused...some say yes, others say not. I freely accept being a dummy on this...and I apologize for asking the same question twice. Perhaps I should have emailed Pinus.

Thank you Lakeside...then I don't need to purchase a new 260 Pro to use these parts...I am very happy to hear this...well not really...now can anyone give me a reason I must have a 260 Pro...I am working though this carefully.
