On a previous thread somebody mentioned not to store a saw with the choke lever out. What is the reasoning behind this?

The reason I ask is often the last clean up task I do on my saws is the air filter and I always close the choke before removing the cover. Sometimes I forget to put the choke back in and my saws get stored this way.

I can't think of why it would matter. If you have a saw with a seperate choke lever, your throttle butterfly would still be closed anyhow. Or, if you have a stihl, (or dolmar, husky too, I think) it'd be slightly open. Either way, it seems like it wouldn't matter. Dunno. Been wrong before.
