I have been searching and reading about race saws, competions, fastest times through a log, hotsaws, etc...for some time on the site now. I see that most of the get togethers everybody does is up north. I live In Indiana, and I know of nobody around here who messes with modded saws.
Most of mine are modded mildly, dual port mufflers, super thin cylinder base gaskets..small stuff like that.
I do have a pile of 066 parts laying around, pretty much a complete saw, so i was thinking about putting something together.
My plan is to mildy polish the exhaust, or have it powerported (dozerdan). Even thinner or no base gasket, lighten the flywheel, and add a tuned pipe (kdhotsaws). That should make it one mean bucker!
I have no idea what i will do with it oncei am finsihed...I guess fell trees a little faster than usual
