I have to admit, it must have helped that I paid list price for the 192T just a few weeks earlier.
It also helps to talk to the owner when negotiating price. In my experience, a salesman approaches the deal from a different perspective.
I paid cash to save them credit card processing fees.
Lastly, maybe the end of the year buying saws is like the end of the month buying cars, know what I mean?
I almost picked up a file kit, but I needed to buy seperate kits for the RS and PICCO chains. I figured I might as well look into a small grinder. So I'll do that later, when I have a bunch of chains ready to sharpen.
