what do you want one of them 1/2 ton monsters for.
He just wants it to see me struggling on the b itch end of that thing. :hmm3grin2orange:

Unlike Chris, I don't have to worry about paint..........................:msp_tongue:
You fellows missed this one, went relatively cheap otherwise I would not have ended up with it. 9/16" pitch chisel chain, I haven't seen that before.
The bar and chain weigh over 4 pounds!

I just got a mall 12a bowbar. I am going to restore it and hopefully get it running. Where do you guys get the new stickers at? What color red paint is the closest to original paint? The wire to the spark plug is missing the spark plug end, and dust cap (if they came with one) so if anyone would have one, let me know. Thanks,
I came up with a few more drums today, at least 2 have "Remington Bantam" written on the box, others just say Remington.
Let me know if you have a need, we'll see what we can work out.

Any clue as to what the number would be for a PL-7 sprocket or rim drive drum?
Oregon 10619 is the number for a Bantam type rim drive drum with the special bushing and spacer. Change your Remy to a .404" from 7/16" with a rim sprocket.:msp_thumbup:
Carl,
I know the Bantum drum fits my SL7A.
.404 nothing, my mint SL7 came to me with 3/8. I thought it was .404 till I was ready to swap the chain out.
Chris B.
Picked this up for $10.00, no pull rope and the famous quote of "It ran great when when it quit running"! lol:msp_rolleyes:
I'm a novice @ this...so allow me ask you experienced Remington Vets...would I fare better with my local saw shop techs to do repairs or someone here on this site?
Time is not an issue...overall cost maybe.
Thanks
Reggie
