Roast me on my porting?

I just picked up a 029. It only needed a bar tention adjustment screw. I’m not sure to keep it or sell it. Never ran a Stihl.

029/290 was the second Stihl I’ve run after an 015, I thought it was a badass machine till I picked up some higher models At least port the muffler if not throw a 390 top on it. If you own a boat, even better

I seen the neighborhood kids mix two stroke oil and gas by the color of the gas. Then soon after I explain what a ratio cup is and give them the cost on a rebuild. The bike had straight gas in it. It was so hot I had play in the new crankbearings. The internal flywheel hit the stator ripping the screws in the case.

I mixed my older husky saws with the oil at 2.3, suggested mix on the bottle was 2.5. A tad rich on oil.
