Thanks guys. I figure it will have to be a parts saw then, as those Bosch coils are like hen's teeth here and when found are snapped up by the guys running 056's and the like.

123

I picked up a 123 that I have now put back together. I had some oil issues and got that figured out, but today I went to try to use it and I think I have a fuel problem. It starts right up and funs fine for a a minute and then dies. Couple pulls and starts right back up. I'm wondering if the there may be an issue with the carb. but how could I really tell if that may be the problem? And any one know if the carb rebuild kits would be avalible yet? It sure does seem like a fuel problem to me.

Thanks for the help.

It sounds like a blocked vent valve, fuel filter or fuel line problem
the vent valve is favorite the rubber perishes and seals shut,
they are available form Dolmar or Makita DCS340 use them.

Try what Rusty posted and if needed the carb kits are no problem,..you just need to know what carb your saw has on it.

Just got four boxes full of sachs dolmar parts. My wifes grandfather died recently and he was a dealer. I was able to put together a 116 from a few parts saws I got earlier but it looks like all I'm going to get out of this pile is a 112. I don't know how much of this stuff is terribly useful, a lot of crank cases and handles, covers, stuff like that but feel free to ask if there is something you're looking for. There is a nos 52mm cylinder for a 133 I believe.

Any 143 parts?

Do you have a recoil assembly or and/or clutch cover for a 111i? Thanks!

Could use a 133 case. Thanks!

Air filter for a 117?

The 110 and 111i use the same recoil assembly

Yah they do .... but I seem to recall that there were two different versions of the spool/engaging mechanism. But the covers and flywheels remained the same.

I can't remember lunch yesterday, but I can remember this stuff .... LMAO

I thinx I'll PM the rupester .... :blob2:

Looking in the IPL, the only one different in that bunch (109,110,111, & 115) was the 109 Happy Start had different springs on the ratchet pauls.

I do have a good 133 case and a bunch of recoil starters for various saws, not sure about parts for anything bigger than the 133 other than some bucking spikes. I'll look for the other stuff you guys asked about.

Oiler

Well I'm stumped here. A buddy of mine dropped off his 117 and said that the oiler didn't seem to be working and that some times it seem to and then not. Well I took the engine off the tanks and checked the hoses and those connections. Couldn't find anything. I checked all of the hoses and every thing seemed to be in good shape. I even swaped out the pump. And still nothing. When I tested it at the shop it seemed to be puming alittle. So I turned out the adjustment screw and sent him away with it. Calls me the next day and it does not seem to be working again. I'm just puzzled here.

115i

Evening all, been lurking for a while but this is, I think, about my first post.

I have a Sachs Dolmar 115i I bought off eBay ages ago. It needed new fuel lines, vent cap o-ring, carb kit etc but now runs wonderfully and so far has cut everything I've thrown at it.

My only gripe is that it leaves large amounts of bar oil in the Landrover, in my shed, on the ground, actually, just about any place I leave it sat for a while. Is there a common (fixable) leak point or is this something these saws do?

Thanks

Welcome aboard. Try loosening the oil cap before putting it down. Sometimes the tanks build up pressure and it forces the oil out after use and loosening the cap to relieve that pressure stops it.
