Tom, What electronic module are you installing.
If it's a mega fire then there is no spacing. Just
mount it anywhere.
Lee
It is an electronic from another model 112. It mounts with two screws and one of the holes is oversize so I figure there is an adjustmeent. Thanks Tom
Jerry, I got the hole in the case repaired and it held 7 # pressure and vacuum with no leak down after a minute or more.
Now I am at the point of putting the electronic module in and I do not know how to space it other than trial and error. Any ideas/ Tom
Good to hear, did the Devcon work for you? To gap the module just insert a business card between it and the flywheel, that will give you approx .010 of a air gap.[/QUOTE
I am talking about the trigger part that is mounted under the flywheel. It has two mounting screws and one of them has an oversized hole.
I have another model 112 and I removed the flywheel and checked the oversized hole and it was a little off center. I could probably get some measurements of it and go with that, but I thought someone might have a simple answer. Thanks Tom
All the stock 112`s I have seen had points and condensers under the flywheel. I thought you might have changed over to an electronic module setup from one of the newer saws. I use the module from a 113,116 and its a direct bolt on.
All the black and white special edition 112 models that I have owned have had electronic ignition. Tom
I got the 112 back together today after setting the ignition trigger by guess and it runs fine. I will try to get some pictures up tomorrow or the next. Tom
Good to hear you saved it, now I know where to send one or two. If I ever find one again.
