Sachs Dolmar Chainsaws Thread

Hi,

New to the forum. I also have a Sachs Dolmar 112 that is not getting oil to the chain but in my case the gears on the oiler are worn flat. After looking on the parts explosion, the worm gear and piston are called out as a pair (part number 119 245 250). Does anyone know where I can buy parts for this thing???

Added another Dolmar to the collection this weekend. This is the 3rd one of these I have but it's the only runner. One has never been fired up and the other one needs more work to get running.

This CT starts & runs good but needs a little tinkering on a few things. It's running a 29" .404 Windsor Speed Tip.

The CT is a real classic, very nice examples you have there. Roland has quite a collection of older Dolmar saws, I really like the oil pump attached to the outside of the starter.

I gotta do some research on the year. I'm happy with how the saw starts & runs but the oiler dosen't work the greatest but I haven't had the bar off the saw yet. 7 hour round trip to Connecticut get the saw last Sunday.

Not sure why they are set up that way. I'll take one off the inner and put it to the outside.

Mabey this will help, I got a new 25" bar and chain for my Makita "8500" and it rocks! Also rechained my old SD 112. I love to hear that thing run. Sounds like the good old days when my Dad ran the 117. Been buying a part here and I am getting close to having every thing I need. Been thinking about getting it woods ported also.

Here is my latest Dolmar. A little CT.... lol. Need to find a felling dog for it. Other than that it is quite complete. I pulled off the muffler and the piston still has the machining marks in it.

These saws are so cool. It just feels like a total monster in my hands.

Thats a keeper for sure JP. Very nice saw.
I like running mine when i get the chance.
