Beautiful, those are keepers. I make a goose cutting board that would really shine made from that wood.

Do you have any pictures of the cutting boards?? I'm up in PA pretty often; not that close, but closer than VA! I'm sure we could work something out!! I'll have to see how everything looks once I open up that section of log. I've got finals next week, so I'm trying to avoid temptation to get to sawing. I did spend an hour setting some posts for the shed site that has been sitting untouched since the winter until now. Gotta get a roof on it like yesterday. I checked the wood under my tarps, and I've got mold growing.
Side question; should I powerwash the mold off and resticker or just leave it? I'm thinking I should powerwash the affected wood.
