The city folk think we shouldn't be allowed to defend ourselves from the criminals and thugs that are running rampant in all the big cities. Call the police and the nice criminal will wait 20 minutes for them to show up and protect us.
Not too long ago some thugs from MKE drove up the interstate, picked a random exit and then picked a house that was sitting alone in a woods. They broke in, tied up the family and robbed them. Thank God no one was hurt physically. If that happens here somebody's gonna be pushing daisies.
Never a more important time to practice situational awareness.

I've got a little enduroX track/observed trials course built around my property, but I'm not out riding on it every day for hours on end. I just go out on it occasionally for 20 minutes or so...I'll do longer on my trials bike, but that thing is super quiet. Even my 2 stroke dirtbike is kinda quiet...it's quieter than my chainsaws, I've got the quietest silencer made for it. My 4 stroke is the loud one, it's apparently legal, but that sound carries for a long ways.
One of these days, I'll get serious about finishing the track and it'll have K-rails, tractor tires, and other obstacles on it. Then the ninnies will complain that it's unsightly.
The other thing I got going for me, is no matter how annoying I am, I look like an angel compared to meth/horses/harley people. IMO nothing is as annoying as a straight-piped harley being pissed revved at random intervals throughout the day and night.
F um LOLI love reading all the covidiots complain on the local Nextdoor App. Kids on dirtbikes, snow, outdoor burning, wood stoves, the price of heating propane, it's never ending lol. I've personally been the subject of a few posts. Mostly large fires that I made out near the road. Also my triple-port 066 got honorable mention one time and not from someone immediately adjacent to me either...the complainer was some distance away. To borrow a term from their vocabulary, loud chainsaws are the song of my people.
That is not true. Many people around me have 6x6 and 7x7 granite posts.
The voter enrollments make it unlikely but maybe SCOTUS will slap her hard enough that people will wake up from the impact...

Now I have neighbors who have, how shall I say it delicately, radically different viewpoints than 90% of the people in our township.

Here is my new defender mailpost. The center section is 7x7 and 2 feet tall. It is made out of 1/4 inch steel plate. The ornamental design is to deflate tires on impact. Where is that dark gray Subaru WRX now. I'll paint it up when it warms up a little more.

Can you imagine hustling 4 or 5 cords of wood, then shoveling feet of snow.. Good grief.. One of my buds up by Lake Ontario lets the dogs out of the window cause of lake effect snow. I'm not complaining about the mild winter in SW PA.

US Stoves 1602... solid fuel furnace. Takes a 28" log or a buttload of a coal charge.. Can we get a comparison ? I like mine, yet wish it would last longer on a charge.. Approx 6 hours.. Someone said dis-continued, but I'm claiming stupid on that . If I remember right it was $1,600.00..... Two blowers, draft blower, and controls... Also, it's red which is faster.
Got that right. There are much bigger fish to fry. Like maybe.....road maintenance! We only have 700ish taxpayers in our township. The ones who damage the roads the most pay the least in property taxes per acre. Shhhh... don't tell anyone...it's the factory dairy farms. Our town roads were never meant to handle the equipment they use today. I'm 90% positive we're going back to gravel town roads, that's the only way the town will be able to afford it. There's no way we could afford to repave/rebuild all our roads properly. Rant over.
