67000. I haven’t taken any trips in the last few years so don’t ride much around home. That trip was in 2013 11600 miles in 25 days from Illinois lots of fun and rain great trip if you want a adventure. I’m leaving today to go to the Red Bud national and going to pick up a Honda crf300l by there I found on marketplace I can play on back roads on.
Sounds like a fun ride. I wish I could have done something like that in my younger days.

They wear like iron 👍, I wouldn’t pay full price for one , but this one was a great deal ,
They wear like iron in more ways than one....

I hade a pair of tin pants back in the 90's....takes an extra sandwich every day just to walk around in them things... but they are tough!

If you want a dirty bike to show you ride go to the arctic circle in the rain on the Dalton hiway. It took $10 in the car wash just to get the big chunks off. The stuff is like concrete.
I rode my Goldwing up the Haul Road, and twice down the ALCAN, back in the old days there wasn't much pavement on it, talk about mud!

Last trip I took on my Goldwing was just a few miles short of 15,000, all over Alaska, Canada and the lower 48 states.

I hope all my fellow supporters of the Constitution of the United States of America have a blessed and wonderful 4th of July weekend with their loved ones! May god bless you all and yours. I pray that the document this country is supposed to live by continues to be the #1 guiding factor in all the decisions made buy our "chosen leaders" 😉😉 "chosen". May we all live and prosper as Free Americans.

Don't hold your breath! Common sense does not return just because they are obviously wrong!
That's the sad, but honest truth....

Somewhere in the scheme of things "wrong" turns to bad /evil.
Wrong is too nice of a word for the folks that are destroying our society......Imo.....

Lookin good. Will it take two men and a boy to move it? Heavy duty comes to mind. :drinkingcoffee:
When you are working alone with something that bulky and heavy, you learn how to "step things up" and use leverage.

I can't tell you how many times I've played out in my mind how I'm going to get it off the trailer and right side up w/o damaging anything!

I have sawhorses, and stools of different heights, and I'll figure out something!

I also have those 2 double 2X4s that I screwed together and lay across the trailer. That both gives extra strength and prevents warping. I can change the width or angle any time. I view it as my flexible work bench. When using my table saw, I position my vice bench to catch the long end of the boards that have gone through the saw.

You have to be innovative!

OK, back on topic, kind of:

Building a 3' X 6' Red Oak outdoor picnic table for my older daughter, using my trailer as a workbench.

This chainsaw milled wood was stored outside for too long. All of the sapwood had to be removed, and other sections needed repair (including a woodpecker hole), but most of the heartwood is still very solid.

I originally planned on only doing the two cross boards to support the legs and keep the top together, but changed plans and did 3 to reduce warping and twisting. Also used carriage bolts instead of deck screws to make the wood comply!

Was tough to make progress with all the rain we have been having, today was the first dry day in a long time.

Now I just need to let the PL Premium dry, stain it, and transport it to her house in NH!
NICE!!!! heavy duty lookin. Can i place an order and get "Prime" shipping?:sweet:

I've been contemplating making one for my new lunch time spot at work. We are moving our shop location and there is an exit door right in my office to nice big shaded lawn (east side of 30' wall building).
