Just pour the batter on top of the other ingredients. Sort of like British shepherds pie but for southern patriots
Guy is lucky . Bet his injuries would have been substantially less in a newer car . To give you an idea look at the steering wheel. Non collapsing column . Worked on cars that were repairable in the body shops that people died in . The steering wheel would be all bent in towards the dash so you knew the persons body was the reasonMark/SS396
I know you mentioned how Mike being in a modern vehicle saved his life
This fella owns a repair shop/Tow truck operation between me and work.
He was hit head on last summer by a drunk driver, this was his beautiful 55 Chevy
They said he wasn’t gonna make it, he did, but is still in rough shape

And deer love white oak acorns! They are not bitter, like red oak. Also good to know if you are in survival mode, you can eat them. That tree has been that big all my 67 years and dad says its been that big all his 92 years. Can't imagine how many acorns it has produced in it's life time. It just deserves not to be cut.
Definitive Dave had bought a whole pallet of them yrs back and was cutting them down to 20" for racing, he sold a lot of them. Kinda like real estate, highest best use, although the guys who want them for their collection probably didn't like it.I’m hopefully keeping an eye out ,

Boil and exchange the water once or twice to get rid of the tanin. That's what makes them bitter. Just incase anyone hadn't already learned that. Slim chance in this group but.......And deer love white oak acorns! They are not bitter, like red oak. Also good to know if you are in survival mode, you can eat them.

Get starlinkOh that’s just a joke for backyard lumberjack. When he gets hopped up on whatever he does, he comes in a posts 30 posts in a row.
It’s probably not as big of a deal if you have fast Internet, but for a guy up in the middle of nowhere, it takes forever to load 30 posts that could’ve been one or two. He posts every thought separately so he gets more likes, because that some sort of status symbol to him. I’m not making that up that-he actually brags about it.
Wood will heat you up , in different ways,View attachment 1147742
Found a couple of these guys hiding in the stacks. I've seen them warm up and come to life inside.

Today's workout at the firewood gym. 40 trips down under the deck, up the stairs. If I burned that much every day, I'd sure be in shape!
Couple days ago the kids were hauling wood in, my boy found a clump of stink bugs all huddled up together . I hate them things, but the mosquitoes are the ones that will surprise you here in the middle of winter. I now leave the main bathroom door cracked with the light on at night after bringing a load of wood in, then I go in there first thing in the morning and kill any of the little buggers that went in there. Sometimes I'll be on my computer at night and they fly by me to get to the computer screen, gotta be quick to get them before they get you lol.View attachment 1147742

I think Canada needs to be more concerned about it, they always say they'll leave the country and move to Canada, haven't seen any of them leave yet.
Not the sane people anyway.I think Canada needs to be more concerned about it, they always say they'll leave the country and move to Canada, haven't seen any of them leave yet.
That being said, I'm sure Canada doesn't want them either.
