Removing transfer like shown in Randy's video doesn't take special equipment, a little patience and a cordless drill get the job done just fine.
Most all the larger ones are gone here, unless they've been treated.Hopefully they thrive and grow, unfortunately my area the Ash treesare decimated,
We never had any here at the house, but literally 300yrds down the river valley there were tons. The whole river valley was full of them, now, those nice ones are all dead.
@Honyuk96 had some big ones around the corner from where he lives that were treated, nice seeing some bigger ones still around.
I've considered getting a couple to plant here at the house and see how they do.Only ash tree I've seen recently is down at my in-law place. Growing between the house and ac unit.next spring I'm gonna dig it up and plant it somewhere else.

I know I said I was gonna do nothing today in honor of National Drink Beer Day, but my old new best friend texted with the offer of more firewood. So off I went in the mist to get 2.X loads. I thought it was going to be a lot of cottonwood, but to my surprise most of it is oak. That should keep me from doing nothing for the rest of the week.
But the new rims and tires on the 68 . The front is coming down 2 1/2 inches when I put the disc brake kit on it . The rear will come down another inch . Truck is already lowered 3 inches in front 4 in rear . Going to be in the weeds

I had trouble backing into the barn the trailer hitch caught the cement lip stopped me dead had to put a couple of 2x6s under the rear tires
Those wheels are sexy.. I would've gone black wall on the tires.. even after a paint job, those are good looking wheels. I know that truck is going to look sweet,,,, soon.

That stuff will put a saw to the test, sure is hard after it's been dead a while.
I've done a lot of testing in it, both saws and chains. We used to get nice long consistent sized wood.
