I managed to find and dig out my Woods back blade today, I then put it on the new tractor and plowed some snow,

It did a pretty good job.

The rubber mounts are not as smooth as spring but should not be bad. Check to make sure none of your dampers are bad, and that your piston pin or rod bearing is not giving up the ghost. 461s run lean in stock form, so it is worth checking things out. They will definitely add to the vibration.
According to the astute young Woodslasher, blue mounts are firm and black softer…I gots blue. XS ported like a tugboat, unlimited coil to make it easier to nail the tune. Nice clean saw with not a lot of time on it. Superior air filtration and clutch dust resistance….but my Jonsereds sure are pretty.

Hello gentlemen, been a while hope everyone is doing well, just dealing with some family loss, and estate issues last number of weeks, just didn’t have much to say lately, but i know moving forward is the best way, so keep on keeping on scrounging,

Pretty much puts and end to which one is best..

Sorry to hear about the loss in your family.

I did manage to buck up a 12" and 20" Ash yesterday before the snow started again. My rebuilt 350 is holding its own now. I took down the rakers just enough that this saw cuts on its own. If I try to push the saw the chain will hog in a little too much.
This storm we are getting is going to be messy. We got 5" of snow last night. It's 24 degrees out and raining. I think I'm going to sit this storm out and left the ice form on the snow. It will be easier to clean up the snow than dealing with ice on my uphill driveway afterwards.

Our puppy says it is a dog day today. He loves the snow. At 16 weeks old he is 19" tall and weighs 33 pounds.

That is how I scrape my uphill driveway down to the pavement. I have an 8 foot Fisher plow for my truck. My tractor does a much better job at clearing the driveway than the truck does. I haven't used my truck for plowing in 2 years.

Known quite a few people like that. As you said had they made some right decisions and not lived like everything was the last money on earth they would have had a decent life or been better to be around. One person always complained on how expensive everything was and just outright miserable to be around. One other tightwad I had delt with was complaining on how his car was starting hard, so I started asking him the basic questions which eventually led to asking how old the battery was. He stated he had put a new battery in the car the year after he had bought it. Turns out that was 10 years prior, to which I told him to replace the battery since it was so old, but he firmly claimed "it should last me the duration of owning the car!".
No kidding! He would get in his Ford Festiva and drive 20 minutes each way and listen to hour plus informational seminars so he could get the free lunch. 2-2.5 hours invested to get a 9 dollar plate of food.
Took the back way home from the grocery store

Usually fish here, beautiful views!!View attachment 1242124View attachment 1242125
Beautiful. Starting to look like spring out by you!
Nothing wrong with bias ply for the proper application.

You're still alive! Why don't you hang out here more and quit arguing with those idiots in PR?

Sorry for your loss.

Glad you're back. Good to distract yourself once in a while.

70cc??

372xp and 044!

But hey, why stop at 72cc when they make bigger…..
Weight, and lack of necessity. A ported or modded 70 does most everything I need, anything bigger I have friends I can call.
When I ran a 462, is when I listed my ported 440. While I'm not a huge fan of stihl flippy's, I'm a bigger fan of them than the 044's screwy caps . Husky makes the best flippys!
Took the wife out for dinner last night, and split a nice 3 meat fajita :sweet:.

Just got in

We soggy snow with ice under it

Lots of fun moving

Praying it actually gets up to the 40 my phone says it is so the ice melts!!!
29 here and freezing rain on top of the 4 inches of snow. Still have power at the moment we’ll see how it goes later with the strong winds.
