We soggy snow with ice under it

Lots of fun moving

Praying it actually gets up to the 40 my phone says it is so the ice melts!!!

40 is a ways out for us.

Next five days...Gonna be chewing wood again.

Had to clear 4 trees to get to our mountain place. That was from below, didn't want to fight the snow up above. We went up there, but turned around and went the other way.



I wait for these conditions to burn.



I used the loader to push the unburned outside stuff into the middle.

We are supposed to get above freezing this afternoon, then get sharply colder the rest of the week.

So, I spent most of the morning getting things cleaned up as much as possible, so things don't ice over.

My daytime appts cancelled, but we still have one this evening.

The ice on the truck windshield was about 1/8" thick.

29 here and freezing rain on top of the 4 inches of snow. Still have power at the moment we’ll see how it goes later with the strong winds.

Was like slow motion!! Big 6-8in around too!!

I have a soft cab for it but I don’t like having it on when I'm scrounging wood in the woods.

Tell the boss 50k is a small price to pay for your health, safety and comfort. Think of how quickly you could get your chores done which naturally would allow you more time with her!
