With all the trimmings, it sure was good!

Well, the plan MustangMike devised is, we put the 4-16 on my 300winmag and take the 3-9 off of it and put that on my 300savage. Take the fixed four from the 70’s off of it and put it in the “scope draw”Nice.
What you gonna mount it on.
I always made jerky with goose. I have had goose breast on the grill that was pretty good. I think you have to make sure it's a young bird. Definitely don't want to grill a 15 year old goose unless you like shoe leather!Goose hunting with my best friend tomorrow morning
Anyone have any recipes??
I sent the new camo pic to my pal, he said “don’t forget socks and boots”
Half tempted to bring my boy Gunner, I really think he’d do well!

That reminds me of a story my parents tell about me. When I was about 5 my parents got me a toy chainsaw with a spinning bead chain. It must've been pretty cool because I still remember it. Anyways we opened gifts on Christmas Eve and before we were done I disappeared. My parents couldn't find me anywhere until my dad looked outside and saw me in the front yard in my PJs "cutting" the front yard trees!Where's the PPE?

Thanks, I goofed when I mentioned the breed. I read the ad wrong. Our son caught it when he saw the picture of the puppy. We confirmed it with the seller. The mother is a Black Poodle/Flat Coat Retriever. Dad is 100% Golden Retriever. The ad said the puppy was a Goldendoodle flat coat retriever - reverse. I thought that the flat coat in the ad meant that the fur was flat. One of my brothers has a Goldebdoodle Shepherd that has all wirey hair. My wife and I had never heard of a Flat Coat Retriever before. The woman seller said the reverse is when you breed a Doodle dog with a pure Golden. My wife wanted to buy a pure Golden for $2300. We picked Bodie up for $500. He will be Vet checked on the 7th. If there are any issues the seller will take the dog back. From what I can see he is fine. He doesn't like being alone. He was raised with the parents, kids and cats. He is full of energy. To walk around our house which is built into a banking is a good 100 yards. I had him make 3 trips around the house yesterday morning on one of his many outside outings. He did 5 runs around the house total for yesterday. He did over 300 yards more of romping at our daughter's house yesterday afternoon. He is just a little guy and high maintenance right now. He only weighs 12.2 pounds as of this morning. We have at least two running the area, they cover a lot of ground and fast. Haven't gotten any new pics of them or any pics of nothing in a few days. Yesterday I went out and did a bit of scouting(before all the snow melts again) , found where they entered and exited the property. I was a bit surprised they didn't get close at all to the chicken coop/run, not that they could have gotten in without digging for a while. I have fence down a ways below the ground, 1' and more below the door.
Cute pup, look forward to seeing pics along the way, they get big fast!
That's way too many firearms. You need to send that Savage this way, I promise to treat it right.MustangMike is the builder…..
I just like to be the “filler”

Only when their bars get cocked.Sheeesh! Those Husky guys have a warped sense of humor!
That brings back memories. My great grandmother got all of us pj's every year. We got them Christmas Eve and wore them to bed. I'm old enough to remember missing a pin or two that held them folded in the package and getting poked.Merry Christmas gentlemen
My wife has been getting my girls new PJ’s every Christmas since they were born
Hope everyone gets at least one thing they asked for…View attachment 1228678
When my youngest brother was about 5 in the mid ‘60s he wanted a chainsaw for Christmas… He received one with a beaded chain too. I think it was a Homelite, or at least looked like one. My son’s former manager gave my 2 year old grandson a Stihl saw last year. The fact that they sell Stihl and Husky didn’t hurt…That reminds me of a story my parents tell about me. That's why I love chainsaws I guess!
When we went looking for pups, my wife was against me getting another hyper active Sheppard. So we looked at more "laid back" breeds. Settled on golden retrievers. The 2 we got are every bit as active/high energy as my Shepard was, they will be 2 in March and haven't slowed down a bit. This last summer we added a border collie to the mix, and he's just as hyper as the retrievers. Don't have any recent pictures of them. I'll have to take a few when I get home. Call them my 3 tards. Act like idiots when they are in full play mode. Great dogs all of them. Thanks, I goofed when I mentioned the breed. I read the ad wrong. Our son caught it when he saw the picture of the puppy. We’ve had a border collie for 2 years, and they are more human than dog , incredibly intelligent, ours need a ton of outdoor activity weather hiking or playing per day , my better half is a runner and takes him in the trails every day for a 4 to 7 mile run, if he doesn’t get his exercise every day he gets a attitude lol , some people don’t realize they are were breed working dogs and need to do it daily,When we went looking for pups, my wife was against me getting another hyper active Sheppard.
