My 10/22 is an older Sporter model. Likely needs a spring or two replaced. I did replace the trigger assembly with a newer one, the trigger is much better, and it helped a bit, but the jams did not go away. My 10/22 functions better with high velocity ammo but still has some jams. It shoots Winchester HPs far more accurately than any other bullet I have fired, where as my Marlin will fire them all about the same.
I rarely get 2 - 10 round mags through it w/o a jam.
I can put any bullets I want in the Mark II, and it NEVER has a jam!
