How many now?
At one time I had a pretty big pile, but that's been gone for yrs now. I sold a lot of it off, but pulled a little out for myself when needed too.
This was after a lot had been sold off the end. I was doing quite bit of tree work that yr, after that I tried not to brias much wood home lol.

This was taken from where the pole barn is now, the fall before I cleared the site for it, 2016. Time flies...
It eventually went all the way to the large multi-stem elm on the left and wrapped around it.

I sold off 43 cord. The bottom of the pile was junk. That now reside off in the woods to rot away. Last year I had 14 cord stacked. There was 4 for me to burn and the rest was sold off. Right now I think I have about 2 cord split and 6 - 8 needing to be split. There are 6 Ash trees all bucked up waiting to be brought in.

That's awesome.
I think I'm about where you're at currently, around 2 cord I split last spring I'll put right in the woodshed for next season, the 6-8 in rounds, when I'm splitting that this spring/ summer I'll separate anything that was dead standing or cut two yrs ago and put it in to finish off next seasons wood. I only need 7 cord total to fill both sides, so there will be a bit left over to refill for 29-30 or to sell, then I have a lot of logs to buck whenever I get to that. Really wish the logs in front of the barn weren't there, that being said, in another 10yrs I'll wish I had more 😆.

I need to do an Ash tree count to see how many more that need to come down. Yesterday I found a dozen more near my house that have to come down. Damn EAB got to them. A few are dying from Ash blight that we had 5 - 6 years ago.

I checked the beehives I have on the back of my property today. I have only lost from that apiary. I think the one that does just didn't have a big enough cluster going into winter.
There was still plenty of honey in the hive. I will be able to extract it and use it for something once it's a little warmer outside. I think the unusually long cold weather also contributed to that one colony's demise. They maybe would have survived in a warmer year, but this year was just too cold.
I didn't get a chance to check the hives at the neighbor's woods today. I'm hoping I can get back there later this week or weekend if the weather is good. And as long as it's not too muddy.

Here is the pile today. It is a bit bigger than the picture that I posted up yesterday.

Today I installed mirrors on my tractor loader. I made up some mounting plates welded to angle iron pieces. The one factory mirror that I have is too low to be useful. For some reason the left side of my tractor has more vibration than the right side. The right side is pretty steady. The left one is pretty blurry. The mirrors will swing in if hit. I may have to install smaller mirrors.
