Thanks !! It has a buddy so neither of them get lonely. It was a “buy two get two for the price of two” deal. Couldn’t go wrong really. The left one is Pops, right one is mine. I ordered mine and he says “if my dang kid can have one so can I”. So now there are two 😂

Sweet.
How do you like those tires.

I can’t say enough good things about them for what we do with them. I wanted something easy on the grass while still having some grip. They bite in on snow and ice a lot better than the skid loader style and they clean out really well in the mud. At first I thought I got suckered into the almost $1k upgrade price but I’ll do it again in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the info.
I was surprised how much traction the turf tires had on a smaller unit, but they didn't do well in mud.
I wish I could get em for my Kubota. It's either ag or R4s for mine. Everyone loves them from what I've heard.
Which kubota do you have again.
I don't know anyone that has them.

Managed to get the new cylinder on the splitter, put my boy to work tightening bolts up on the pusher plate. The new cylinder turned out to be about 3" longer then the old cylinder, even with the rear yoke being 1" shorter. Which closed my 4" gap from the push plate to wedge to 1". Shouldn't be an issue. I only had the gap, since the beam was too short for a 30" stroke cylinder and I can fit a 28" split in the furnace of I wanted to. The shenandoah can only take a 24" split anyway.
I will say the cylinder fly back in with that 3.5" rod. Actually so fast, I stalled the engine when I first went to test it. Just had it off idle thinking going real slow would be good to check everything before taking it to full speed. Everything looks like it will be just fine and lined up good. I'll clean up and take it out and split some wood tomorrow after work.
No dad , it goes over here, lol 👍

I have them on my TYM. They don't tear up the yard, seem sturdy enough to avoid punctures in the woods and they get decent traction in snow. I don't get into any heavy, wet, clay type soil but I suspect they wouldn't be as good as ag's in that stuff.

MX6000. From the little bit of research I've done they're not made in a size that'd work for it.

Jim, the right one has been quirky for a few years and then this year skiing with my daughter….

I tried to be young again and it’s now in pretty rough shape

Just walking I can feel something flopping around in there. It only hurts when I push it for a bit and then burns afterwards

My dad used to tell me when I was younger to not abuse them, but every teenager thinks they’re invincible. Just took me to 40 to realize I’m not….
was told the same thing for years. Didn't start to listen till recently. Took pinching a nerve in my upper back to get the message. Sucks getting older, and I'm only gonna be 37 this year.

R14's are the best all around tire I've ever found. We ran the nokians at the township on our deere and one of the New Hollands . Was always impressed how well they worked on and off road, especially in the snow. Ended up getting the Carlisle version for my kubotta. Not quite as nice as the Nokians ut way better then the stupid r4s and don't tear up the yard like r1 do.

what are gel shots?
When the cartilage in your knees are worn out the bones tend to rub each other causing inflammation. Gel shots is the injection of a fluid into the area where the cartilage used to be. It provides a cushion so that your bones no longer rub against each other. I had to have that done to my right knee 4 years ago after a surgeon went in and cleaned my knee out. No comment on this person. He also F'ed up my left knee. That knee now has a titanium replacement.

You just may have a torn meniscus in your knee. Years ago our Pitbull mix clotheslined my knee with her steel cable run. She snapped my knee sideways tearing the meniscus in my right knee. I had to have the loose flap removed. Then I tore it up again at work. After the 2nd clean out my knee was worse than before the surgery. I did some research and found out about the gel shots. They are painless.
