I'm looking to plant some fruit trees in my backyard?
When is the best time to plant them?
Do they vary according to their species?
I live in Southern California.

I'm thinking of planting the following:
Pomegranate, Avocado, Date, Persimmon.

I am not familiar with your climate, but the best time to plant is usually in the fall or early spring while the plant is still dormant.
